Drawing on Melissa’s Jamaican heritage and their shared passion for community building, the duo has opened a café that blends the rich flavors of Jamaican cuisine with the welcoming spirit of a neighborhood hub. Melissa’s grandfather was a coffee farmer in Jamaica, giving the café’s love of coffee a personal family connection.

Y'all! This is more than a coffee shop! Rasta has the BEST chicken wings in Madison! If you have not tried their BBQ Jerk Chicken Wings you are missing out. PRO TIP - Ask for them to be caramelized and it will light your world ablaze!

Absolutely wonderful, spontaneous find! The staff were amazing and polite, with great suggestions and explanations. I can tell they are both knowledgeable and passionate about what they do! The jerk chicken and fries were dynamite and my latte was an absolute creamy perfection. But, I must say, the best of all was the affogato: gelato with espresso poured over. It is my new favorite treat!!

Today was my first visit, and the super friendly owners happily explained the Jamaican coffee that they roast in-house. The coffee is smooth and delicious, especially yummy with a fresh-baked, gooey chocolate chip cookie!

Lovely married couple making exceptional food and beverage. My personal favorites include but are not limited to- the drink revgee hot or iced coffee with condensed milk and caramel. Their ginger beer and the sorel drink. The breakfast sandwich turkey sausage egg and cheese on a croissant. The oxtail dinner plate is amazing. The curry chickpea rice and chicken bowl is delicious.
